On March 11, Z/Yen and CDI jointly released the twenty-fifth edition of the Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 25) during the Global Financial Forum in Dubai. The GFCI provides ratings for 62 financial centres calculated by a ‘factor assessment model’. This process combines instrumental factors (external indices) with financial centre assessments (from responses to an online questionnaire). The The Z/Yen Group has published the thirteenth Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 13), sponsored by the Qatar Financial Centre Authority and rating 79 financial centres on a scale of 1 to 1,000.
